Make your website faster and safer

1. Compress images before you upload them. Large images are the most common reason a site is slow.
2. Use a lightweight theme, and remove plugins and themes you do not use.
3. Enable caching in your CMS if it has the option, and test the site again.
4. Update your CMS, themes and plugins regularly, and use strong unique passwords.
5. Give each person the lowest access they need, and delete accounts you no longer use.
6. Keep a backup before major changes. Daily backups are included, but a manual one before an update is the fastest way back.
