My website shows a certificate warning

Free SSL is issued automatically once your domain points to Hartwell.

  1. Every hosting plan includes free SSL. The certificate is requested automatically after your account is created.
  2. A certificate can only be issued once your domain's DNS points to Hartwell. Until then browsers will warn.
  3. After you update DNS, wait for it to spread (up to 48 hours, usually much less). The certificate is then issued by itself.
  4. If it is still missing after DNS has updated, open a support request.

Never share your password, a bot token, a private key or card details with anyone, including Hartwell staff.
