Restore a backup of your game server
Roll your server back to an earlier backup, safely.
- Open your server in the dashboard and go to Backups. Automatic backups are taken daily and stored off your server.
- Pick the backup you want and choose Restore. If you are unsure, download it first.
- Choose "Restore over existing" to lay the backup over your current files, or "Replace everything" to wipe the server first. Both change your files and cannot be undone.
- Your server may restart while the restore runs. Wait for it to finish before reconnecting.
- Before risky changes, create a manual backup so you always have a recent restore point.
Never share your password, a bot token, a private key or card details with anyone, including Hartwell staff.
