Upload files with SFTP
Connect an SFTP client to move large files to your server or bot.
- Install an SFTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP.
- In your control panel open Settings. The SFTP address, port and username are listed there.
- Sign in with your Hartwell account password. We never show or email passwords.
- Upload files into the correct folder, then restart the server or bot so it loads them.
- If you cannot connect, check that the server is not suspended and that your network allows the SFTP port.
Never share your password, a bot token, a private key or card details with anyone, including Hartwell staff.
